To reserve an appointment I require either a non-refundable deposit or a valid credit or debit card on file. This holds your time and lets me run an efficient, one-on-one schedule.
Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a fee of 50 percent of the scheduled service total, or a 25 dollar minimum, whichever is greater.
A missed appointment without notice may be charged up to 100 percent of the scheduled service, and repeated no-shows may require prepayment for future appointments. Arriving 15 to 20 minutes late may be treated as a cancellation.
By booking, you authorize The Washtub Dog Grooming to charge the card on file for any applicable cancellation, no-show, or late fees, to apply any deposit toward the final service total, and to retain deposits as non-refundable in the event of a policy violation. Payment information is stored securely using PCI-compliant booking software.
Grooming can involve certain inherent risks, including minor cuts, nicks, or abrasions, skin irritation from pre-existing conditions, and stress or behavioral reactions. While every precaution is taken, you acknowledge these risks may occur.
You agree to disclose any medical, behavioral, or skin conditions before grooming. Severely matted coats may require humane shaving, which can expose or cause irritation, and you consent to the humane removal of matting. In an emergency, you authorize The Washtub Dog Grooming to seek veterinary care if you cannot be reached, and you accept financial responsibility for that care.
If a pet displays unsafe behavior, grooming may be stopped for the safety of the pet and the groomer, and you agree to pay for services rendered up to that point. You release and hold harmless The Washtub Dog Grooming from liability arising from grooming services except in cases of gross negligence.
Proof of a current rabies vaccination is required prior to grooming services. This keeps every dog that visits safe.
